Over a decade ago, we launched the first shellfish and seaweed Community Supported Fishery (CSF) in the country. We created a way for members to source local seafood and breathe life back into our oceans. GreenWave is relaunching our CSF and partnering with local restaurants to serve up a scrumptious mix of oysters, mussels, clams, and kelp - even kelp bagels and schmear!
We decided to take regenerative ocean farming on the road.
In 2014 GreenWave was born, designed to train and support regenerative ocean farmers; Thimble Island Ocean Farm now serves as GreenWave’s floating classroom.
